Triathlon Canada massage therapist killed in car crash

Kim Ward, 51, and her 48-year-old Tracy Ward were involved in a car crash Monday night. The 51-year-old Ward was pronounced dead at the scene and her sister remains in critical condition.

On Thursday, August 30th, Triathlon Canada expressed their condolences to Ward’s friends and family. The Canadian was a Registered Massage Therapist of Triathlon Canada’s Integrated Support Team for both the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Summer Olympics.

The sisters were struck by a red Jeep on Central Saanich Road Monday night. Local police are still looking for witnesses, anyone with information is asked to call Central Saanich Police at 250 652 4441 or Crime Stoppers at 1800 222 8477 (TIPS).
