“It’s very clear that triathlon is a rapidly growing sport on the West Coast, embraced by a wide variety of fitness-seeking individuals. We want to show our support to the enthusiastic Club system, the grassroots athlete and the seasoned competitor, alike,” said MEC’s Stephanie Rauer, who is very excited with the new relationship.
The new partnership will see MEC providing valuable support to Triathlon BC, allowing Triathlon BC to continue to deliver quality programs, clinics and competition opportunities to athletes, coaches and officials across British Columbia. The newly struck association allows MEC to showcase their investment into the world of triathlon.
“We’re thrilled to be announcing this partnership at such an exciting time of transition and growth in our sport. The relationship shows the value that brands see with aligning themselves to our emerging and dynamic sport” said Allan Prazsky, Executive Director of Triathlon BC.
Triathlon BC, is the governing body of Triathlon in British Columbia with over 3,200 annual members and 50 sanctioned events across the province.
