This Saturday a truly stacked men’s field will compete for the 2022 Ironman World Championship, the first time the event has been held in Kona since 2019. No less an expert than Sebastian Kienle thinks that this field is twice as competitive as that we saw on the Island in 2019, and it’s hard to argue with him on that take.

The Life of Tri host Phil Wrochna and Triathlon Magazine Canada editor Kevin Mackinnon celebrate the 50th episode of the podcast, brought to you by Zwift, with the men’s Kona preview. Don’t miss this special show that includes interviews with Ironman Hall of Fame legend Bob Babbitt and Canada’s Kona favourite, Lionel Sanders.
