The highest triathlon in North America: 106 West Tri opens for registration

Registration opens November 6, 2015 for the 106º West Dillon Triathlon–the highest triathlon in the world. Deep in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, the scenic backdrop is sure to inspire you. The half distance event consists of a 1.9 km swim in Lake Dillon ( North America’s highest deep-water marina), a 90 km ride through historic mountain towns at 3,328 metres above sea level and a 21.1 km run in the shadows of the Tenmile Range and Gore Range mountains. The race is set for September 10, 2016. With a $25,000 prize purse and exclusive permission granted to swim in the famous Lake Dillon, 106° West Triathlon at Dillon will also feature a “quarter-man” distance event. The event is attracting triathletes from all over the world.

All Participants will receive a t-shirt and a cowboy hat. Finishers will receive a custom 106º West belt buckle to commemorate their experience and accomplishment.
