The first edition of Let’s Tri Pollença

The first edition of the Let’s Tri Pollença will be held on Saturday in one of the most beautiful spots in Mallorca. It’s going to be a tough triathlon event with special distances and a fierce competition to get the victory. German Georg Potrebitsch is the favorite to take the victory, but he has to be really strong to try to beat the “Spanish Armada”: Carlos Lopez, Miquel Capo, Miguel Angel Fidalgo, Miguel Fernandez Miniño and Miquel Ensenyat.

Let’s Tri Pollença

Let’s Tri Triathlon de Pollença on Saturday is the flagship of the Let’s Tri series in Mallorca, with a demanding and beautiful course. Over 200 athletes will race in Pollença the first edition of a tough triathlon, located in the north of the island, probably the most beautiful nature area of Mallorca. This is a perfect venue for a demanding bike course, similar to that of the Ironman 70.3 Mallorca: 56km cycling leg around Pollença, Lluc, Selva, Campanet, Pollença… Before the bike segment, athletes have to swim 1.9 km in the scenic Mediterranan sea, close to the port. The run course is a tough one, with some kms ideal for trail running and a hilly profile to the spectacular finish line in this picturesque village.

Despite of its essence being tough and different from other ’standars’ races, the competiton among pro triathletes promises to be very fierce, with German Georg Potrebitsch as the main favorite to win. A good bunch of Spanish athletes, who know very well this area, will try to get the victory: Carlos Lopez, Miguel Capo, Miguel Angel Fidalgo, Miguel Fernandez Miniño and Miquel Ensenyat…

The first edition of the Let’s Tri Pollença will take place on Saturday (15h00), and is organized by Kumulus.
