Social media round-up: Highlights from Ottawa International Triathlon
Hundreds of multisport athletes raced in Canada's capital for the national championship race weekend.

Ottawa International Triathlon saw dozens of age-group athletes qualify for world championships over the weekend, as well as national champion titles crowned. Tyler Mislawchuk and Joanna Brown won the elite titles, but there was no shortage of other exciting stories to come out of the nation’s capital triathlon weekend. Here’s a round-up of some of favourite social media posts from the weekend:
Canada had an impressive line-up of elite woman racing this weekend including Joanna Brown (1st), Paula Findlay (2nd), Dominika Jamnicky (3rd) and Amelie Kretz (4th):
Paula Findlay was thrilled to be back on the podium after some rough years. She battled Brown for on the bike and run and ultimately pulled out a strong 2nd place:
The top Canadian men were Mislawchuk (1st), Alexis Lepage (2nd) and Matt Sharpe (3rd):
Paralympic & Rio silver medallist Stefan Daniel was the 17th Canadian in the Premium CAMTRI Cup:
