Simon Whitfield in Toronto as Race Ambassador for the Toronto Triathlon Festival

The 2014 Toronto Triathlon Festival officially launches today with Race Ambassador Simon Whitfield in town to encourage athletes to take part.

In 2012, Simon (along with Olympian, Paula Findlay) used the TTF as a final tune up before competing in the London Olympics. In 2013, Simon raced as part of a TTF Relay Team, raising funds for charity.

This year’s race features the Pan American Cup Elite race on Saturday July 12 and the olympic and sprint distance race on July 13.
