Rough weather affects Australian Elite Sprint Triathlon National Championships

Sweetland and Campbell may be racing a duathlon.

High winds (gusts up to 98 km/hr) and poor water quality may turn the Australian Elite Sprint Triathlon National Championships into a duathlon in Geelong.

Today’s races (Elite Men and Junior) have been moved to Sunday, the same day of the Elite women’s race – where Canada’s Kirsten Sweetland and Lauren Campbell will see action.
