Results from the second Ironman 70.3 Canberra
Reed defends and Luxford dominates.
Tim Reed (AUS) used a 1:12:06 half marathon to come from behind to defend his title at a very fast day at Ironman 70.3 Canberra. Reed’s 3:40:13 finish time was just over 20 minutes faster than his winning time last year at the inaugural event.
Fellow Australian Annabel Luxford dominated the women’s race from start to finish, crossing the finish line in 4:04:25 to win by six minutes and ten seconds.
