Previewing the Inaugural Ironman 70.3 Auckland

A stacked field is set to race on Sunday.

Ironman 70.3 Auckland, doubling as the Asia Pacific Championship, takes place on Sunday January 20.

The first year event makes use of Auckland’s viaduct harbour, Auckland Harbour Bridge and waterfront.

There are 30 qualifying slots to the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, and 50 qualifying slots to the Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Lake Las Vegas, Henderson, Nevada.
