Previewing the 15th Ironman Lake Placid

Andy Potts headlines the event on Sunday July 28.

The 15th Ironman Lake Placid gets underway with Sunday July 28 in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York.

American Andy Potts crushed the field last year and is back to defend his title. It could be smooth sailing for him once again given the Ironman race histories of the assembled pro men’s field. Canadian Sean Bechtel makes his Ironman debut.
