Oprah completes interview with Lance Armstrong
Lance confesses to doping? Interview airs Thursday January 17 and Friday January 18.
The Oprah interview is done and now it’s a waiting game until Thursday January 17 when the 90 minute special will air on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and streamed worldwide on Oprah.com at 9:00 – 10:30 p.m ET and Friday, January 18, at 9 p.m. ET.
There is much speculation that during the interview that Lance Armstrong finally admitted to Oprah that he used performance-enhancing drugs.
Prior to the interview Armstrong made an apology to the staff of the Livestrong Foundation, and he apparently made phone calls to apologize directly to several members of the cycling community.
Following the interview Oprah tweeted:
Just wrapped with @lancearmstrong More than 2 1/2 hours . He came READY!
