On Tuesday, Ironman announced its newest race Ironman 70.3 Punta del Este. The South American beach town is a perfect blend of cosmopolitan and coastline. The resort town race is a great option for families wishing to double the race as a vacation. There will be 30 qualifying spots up for grabs for the 2016 Ironman 70.3 World Champtionship.

Ironman says “Punta del Este’s climate, high quality roads and coastal location makes the city an ideal Ironman 70.3 race location.”
