New courses at the 2019 World Triathlon Montreal event

On June 28-29, hundreds of triathletes will be competing in Montreal at the 2019 Groupe Copley World Triathlon. With age group races, two separate elite events (CAMTRI and WTS) and the World Paratriathlon Series all taking place over the weekend, some of the world’s best athletes will be racing through the old streets of Montreal.

This year’s race includes a number of course changes for the professionals and amateurs.

The swim portion will be held in the Alexandra Basin. The bike course will be held in the streets of the Old Montreal as well as downtown. This year, the bike will include the famous Beaver Hall Street. The run portion will be held closer to the main venue, along the Lachine Canal. The CAMTRI elite event will take place on the same course as the amateurs. While the WTS race will have a slightly different route.

The ITU World Paratriathlon Series will be held at Parc Jean-Drapeau.
