Naeth wins LeadmanTri Epic 125

Twelsiek takes the men's race.

At the LeadmanTri Epic 125 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Canada’s Angela Naeth took home the win for the second year in a row. Naeth, the Prince George, B.C. native, bested everyone on the 2.5 km swim, 109.5 km bike, and 13 km run course to collect the $6800 US top prize. Last year she won the Epic 250 event (5 km swim, 223 km bike, and 22 km run) but that race did not exist this year.

Germany’s Maik Twelsiek won the men’s race.

The LeadmanTri Epic 250 race will return to Las Vegas next year on April 6, 2013. Registration is open now.
