Muskoka Lakes embraces Bala Falls triathletes
Township seeks race expansion and increased athlete presence.
While it my seem that triathletes are a bother and unnecessary inconvenience to some of the towns we show up to play in during the summer weekends, it appears that the Muskoka Lakes community understands the benefits of triathletes visiting their town.
The Township of Muskoka Lakes actually wants participants of the Bala Falls Triathlon to stay in town longer, and would like race organizers, MultiSport Canada, to make the one-day race a weekend long event.
This 16th edition of the race features a special Retro Day where participants are encouraged to race in classic race gear.
