Canada’s Tyler Mislawchuk will be part of the Super League Triathlon’s biggest championship series yet – the two-time Olympian will compete in the first of the five races that make up the series this weekend in London.

Highlighting the competition will be the race between Great Britain’s Alex Yee and New Zealand’s Hayden Wilde. The two finished with the silver and bronze medals at last year’s Olympics, then took gold and silver at the Commonwealth Games this summer.

Wilde won the Super League Championship event in London last year, which will no-doubt fuel Yee’s determination to cross the line first. The two are both part of a field of 21 athletes that includes Mislawchuk and Great Britain’s Jonathan Brownlee. Yee took the overall Super League Championship title last year

Great Britain’s Georgia Taylor-Brown is back to defend her Super League Championship Series title. She’ll be taking on a strong field that includes France’s Cassandre Beaugrand, American Taylor Spivey, and countrywomen Beth Potter, Sophie Coldwell and Non Stanford.

You can watch the event on the Super League YouTube channel. The racing starts at 8:09 EST with the women’s event, while the men start at 9:24 EST. The athletes are competing in the Triple Mix format which sees the order of the disciplines switched out through three rounds of racing.
