McGlone second at Eagleman

Kiwis dominate.

A pair of New Zealander’s took the Ironman 70.3 Eagleman titles today in Cambridge, Maryland.

Samantha Warriner led the race throughout. She swam (29:53) and ran (1:26:17) the fastest splits of the day, crossing the line in 4:20:01. Canada’s Samantha McGlone was second (4:25:22), and Michellie Jones was third (4:28:25).

Terenzo Bozzone came headed into T2 in third place but used the fastest run split of the day (1:19:34) to win the men’s title in 3:58:17. Americans James Cotter (3:59:51) and Andrew Yoder (4:00:38) were second and third respectively.
