Malindi Elmore: From track to triathlon

Malindi Elmore won the bronze medal at the 2011 Pan Am Games in the 1500 metre track event. After retiring from a competitive running career in 2012, she has turned to triathlon as a way to become a fitter, more well-rounded athlete and to continue racing without the same volume of running. As a triathlete, Elmore has seen great success. This past July, she won the Great White North Triathlon, finishing almost 10 minutes before the runner-up. In this video from Canadian Running , she talks about her transition to triathlon and her new coaching project.
