Luke Bell and Rebecca Hoschke earn Ironman Australia Port Macquarie titles

Australia’s Luke Bell and Rebecca Hoschke earned relatively easy victories today at Ironman Australia Port Macquarie. It was the first career Ironman titles for both athletes.
Bell led the men’s pro race from start to finish (swim – 47:25, bike 4:46:02, run – 2:53:48) to finish in 8:30:23. While Hoschke put up solid splits in all three segments (57:05, 5:15:01, 3:18:46) to stop the clock in 9:34:55.
Penticton’s Kevin Cutjar finished tenth overall. The 47-year-old age grouper swam 57:03, biked 5:20:21, and ran 3:04:54 to finish in 9:25:42 – winning his 45-49 age group by over 25 minutes!
