Looking ahead to TriStar Cannes 2013
The second edition is set for April 14, 2013.
More than 250 triathletes reserved April 14, 2013 to race the second edition of TriStar Cannes!
In 2012, the symbolic line of 250 registrants has been crossed in January; the 2013 edition promises to be a blockbuster and takes off right from November!
There are already 17 nationalities represented in the cast, the lead role will belong again to the Italians coming in great numbers to the red carpet in Cannes, starring Daniel Fontana.
The organizers, in constant search for improvement, listened closely to the comments of 2012’s participants and brought new elements to the 2013 remake.
New, still panoramic, bike course, new adapted swimming part, new “set” at the eastern part of la Croisette: Square Verdun. One single place will host the Star&Co Village, the start-line, the finish-line, the bike park and the transition zone. Everything will be on hand to ensure a festive atmosphere, entertainment and easy access for athletes.
Professional athletes are already part of the cast. Big names of triathlon will come to the capital of cinema to play their part in the second season. First professional registered was top class Italian Daniel Fontana, starring the special photoshooting for TriStar Cannes 2013.
“Last year over 1,000 triathletes raced the inaugural TriStar Cannes and for this edition we’re expecting to get even more participants. In 2013 we aim to improve the event and to bring to the athletes all the glamour of one of the most scenic spots in France, in the city centre of Cannes again! Within the next week we will announce a really impressive pro field with many top world class triathletes! Cannes is a warm welcome to start the 2013 season in Europe soon in April,”, said Manuela Garelli, TriStar Cannes Race Director.
TriStar prepared two other French productions for 2013: TriStar Lyon (111 & 55.5), will be released on 30 June 2013 and TriStar111 Monaco out on 1 September 2013. Tempted by the trilogy? Action!
