Live to Play Sports brings 10 new cycling brands to Canada

Canada’s specialty bike shops and their customers now have more choice: Live to Play Sports – the new face of Norco Products Ltd. –  has announced the addition of ten new brands to the Canadian market: Fulcrum, Whisky Parts, One Industries, 45Nrth, Salsa, All-City, Wahoo Fitness, Problem Solvers, Hiplok, and Wheels Manufacturing.
Some LTP brands, such as Hiplok wearable locks, have never been available in Canada before; others are available exclusively through the B.C.-based distributor.

The new additions mark a powerful trajectory for both LTP Sports and its specialty retailers.

Canada’s independent bike shops can now put emerging and elite brands directly into the hands of their web-surfing customers.

Explains Martin Tammik, VP Merchandising, “Our product team travels the globe to identify innovative, compelling brands and products. We are excited to be able to offer our Canadian cycling retailers a broader range of service solutions and creative new cycling parts and accessories because it puts them on the cutting edge of new cycling concepts.”

For LTP’s specialty bike shops, that means customers can buy Hiplok’s award-winning wearable bike locks and Wheels Manufacturing’s precision parts exclusively from them. For Canada’s cyclists, that means equipment such as Italy’s Fulcrum performance wheelsets are as close as their local bike store.

Brands now available in Canada from selected specialty bike retailers:

– Italian performance wheels by Fulcrum
– Carbon forks and parts by Whisky Parts
– Downhill and all-mountain armour and apparel by One Industries
– Winter-specific tires and accessories by 45Nrth
– Stems, handlebars, and accessories from legendary designers Salsa
– Urban-specific parts and accessories from four-year-old All-City Cycles
– iPhone-powered cycling and fitness technology from Wahoo Fitness
– Compatibility-driven adaptors, mounts, hardware, and tools from Problem Solvers

Live to Play Sports launches crankbrothers service centres in Canada

Live to Play Sports (LTP), Canada’s leading bicycle and cycling products distributor, is proud to announce the launch of their Canadian crankbrothers service centres to dealers across the country, effective immediately.
LTP has been distributing crankbrothers products for nearly a decade to specialty bike retailers. Known for their performance driven parts (pedals, wheels, posts, stems and bar) and trail-friendly accessories, crankbrothers have been an iconic staple in the market for the pro-elite rider to the general weekend enthusiast. With two locations (Port Coquitlam, B.C. and Woodbridge, ON), LTP has a team of educated customer service and technical staff positioned to help support dealers with their crankbrothers needs.

“The ultimate goal is to drive added confidence in crankbrothers products in the market, for both consumers and retailers,” said Paul Nielson, LTP national sales manager. “We love to service what we sell and keep people riding.”

“We are very happy to be working with Live to Play Sports, and we are especially proud of the crankbrothers service centres they recently established,” said Amanda Schaper, crankbrothers marketing manager. “With two locations in Canada, Live to Play Sports will be able to provide timely service to all dealers. Our tech and warranty manager, Tim Young, has personally worked with the mechanics at the new crankbrothers service centres, and he is extremely confident in their abilities. With Live to Play Sports, we know that Canadian dealers will be receiving the highest level of crankbrothers support and service.”

Should any challenges arise on the trail or should riders simply require general maintenance and care, LTP staff are confident that their local service centre capabilities will minimize down-time and optimize the overall crankbrothers ride experience.
