Live race coverage with IRONMAN and Facebook partnership

IRONMAN, a Wanda Sports Holdings Company, and Facebook have agreed to a content partnership for live programming of the 2018 season.

IRONMAN, a Wanda Sports Holdings Company, and Facebook have announced a content partnership for live programming of the 2018 season. Race coverage started this past weekend in France and will continue to Ironman Arizona on November 19th. In total, 16 races will be live on Facebook, including Ironman Lake Placid, Mont-Tremblant, the 70.3 World Championship, and Ironman World Championship.

Hosts of the Facebook live events are Ironman world champion Greg Welch, three-time Ironman world champion Michael Lovato and three-time Ironman champion Debe Griesbauer.

Additionally, 20 weekly shows titled “IRONMAN:40 Years of Dreams”, celebrating 40 years of Ironman, will be streamed on Facebook starting July 5th to November 15th.
