A noticeable influx of hard bodies and tattoos hit Kona today – the scene at Dig Me Beach was like a rock concert, but with less clothing, and the airport arrivals was crowded with back-packs and bike boxes. With registration starting tomorrow, competitors already have their game face on. On Monday evening CEEPO bikes launched their 2014 line with a party at the Royal Kona Surf hotel. Kona Legacy athletes, Katherine Calder-Becker and Kevin Becker from Montreal joined Canadian distributor Marc-André Perron, and owner Joe Tanaka in celebrating the achievements of this small bike company.
