Pro triathlon couple Jodie and James Cunnama announce pregnancy

Another triathlon couple is expecting a baby later this year. Bahrain Endurance team’s Jodie (nee Swallow) and James Cunnama announced over social media yesterday that they are expecting their first child in November, 2017. The two married last summer.

Jodie, the two-time Ironman African champion, was noticeably absent from the start line of Ironman South Africa earlier this month, which sparked rumours of her pregnancy. She has not raced since Ironman 70.3 South Africa, where she claimed her seventh victory at the race. James, a South African triathlete, recently raced his hometown race where he placed 10th.

TMC sends our congratulations to the Cunnamas.
