Jim Sunners checks in from Kona

Jim Sunners of Niagara Falls, is making his third Kona appearance. He’s hoping to make this his best performance on the Island to date and provided us with these pictures from Bike Check In on Friday. He also added these pre-race comments:

“Kona can be such an unpredictable race. There are so many factors that can make or break the race. I’ve tried to eliminate as many of then as I can. I’m feeling good and feeling rested. I’ve had some decent build up sessions. Yesterday, I had a swim out to the floating coffee bar on the swim course and felt decent. I rode a brisk 30 km on the Queen K highway and felt strong coming back into the wind. If all goes well with my run tomorrow I will have a good race.”
