Jamie Whyte confirmed for Challenge Vichy

Inaugural race goes on August 21st.

With a recent breakthrough victory at Challenge Wanaka in January, only his 2nd iron distance race, Jamie Whyte is becoming a force on the long distance triathlon scene.

Hailing from a farm in the deep south of New Zealand and having played rugby through his schooling years, Whyte first competed seriously at the 2003 age group world triathlon champs in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Over the past few years he has been a consistent performer in the world of long distance triathlon with seven Ironman 70.3 podiums from his last seven starts!

With some solid results now behind him, he is determined to make triathlon a full time occupation and focus undivided attention to achieving excellence in the sport.

On August 21st he will race for a another victory in the Challenge Series at Vichy, France. Athletes will swim the waters of Lac d’Allier, ride the roads of Auvergne, and finally run an amazing marathon in the beautiful city of Vichy.
