As we reported last week, based on this year’s numbers, Ironman Mont-Tremblant will be the easiest race for a woman to qualify for the Ironman World Championship in 2023. As many as 42 per cent of the women’s field could end up with a Kona slot thanks to the 120 slots likely to be on offer at the Quebec event.

Long considered one of Ironman’s flagship events, Ironman Mont-Tremblant hasn’t enjoyed the same popularity that saw the race fill up long before race day over the past few years. That could change next year, though, with the addition of 100 Women for Tri spots that will increase the chances of claiming a spot at the prestigious Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Registration has opened for this year’s race – you can sign up for the race here.
