Ironman 70.3 Panama Preview
The race goes Sunday February 12 with an exciting pro field.
The inaugural Ironman 70.3 Panama, which will also serve as the Ironman 70.3 Latin American Pro Championship, gets going this coming Sunday February 12.
Athletes will swim 1.9 km in the Pacific Ocean at the entrance to the Panama Canal, then bike 90 km, featuring a crossing of the Bridge of the Americas connecting Central and South America on the way to the Pan-American Highway, and finish with a 21 km run through the Amador Causeway.
One look at the men and women’s professional start list will tell you that we are in store for some great racing on Sunday. Canada’s Tenille Hoogland, Angela Naeth and Magali Tisseyre are on the start list. Check out the rest of the pro list below:
