Ironman 70.3 Berlin added to the race calendar
Race day is Sunday, June 16, 2013.
The World Triathon Corporation has added Ironman 70.3 Berlin to their race schedule and is slated to take place on Sunday, June 16, 2013.
Athletes will be swimming in the river Spree, in the heart of Berlin. The bike course is a city course. From the Spree river athletes will cycle through the city westwards to the forest Grunewald. From there they will cycle back downtown and finish at the former airport Tempelhof. The run course will start on the former airport Tempelhof. From there athletes will run into a park called Hasenheide and back to the former airport Tempelhof.
The Ironman 70.3 Berlin has two transition areas. The start area and the covered transition area 1 are located at or in the Arena Berlin, Eichenstr. 4, 12435 Berlin-Treptow. Only participants, volunteers, and organization members will be permitted to enter the Arena, bath vessel, and T1.mThe transition area 2 is located in the beer garden “Luftgarten” at the former airfield “Tempelhof” (entrance Columbiadamm, 12101 Berlin).
Registration for Ironman 70.3 Berlin 2013 is available now. The field of participants is limited to 2000.

1stNov – 1st Jan 2013 215 € plus 6,5% Active Fee* + 1 Euro
2nd Jan – 1st Mar 2013 235 € plus 6,5% Active Fee* + 1 Euro
2nd Mar – 24th May2013 265 € plus 6,5% Active Fee* + 1 Euro
* the 6,5% Active Fee refers to the total price (entry fee plus all additional services like the pasta party or the finisher buffet).
