Great Canadian Chill
New Year's Day fundraiser for Pediatric Oncology.
On January 1st in Ottawa and Toronto, you are invited to participate in a Polar Bear Dip to raise money that will go to the 16 Canadian pediatric oncology centers to help children and their families cope with cancer and find a cure.
In Ottawa the “swim” will take place at Britannia Beach, while in Toronto participants will jump into the waters of Ashbridges Bay Park.
Check in begins at 12 noon at both locations, and the “Chill” starts a 1:30 pm.
Feel free to bring your bike and run gear along so you can make it a triathlon.
It costs nothing to participate, but you are encouraged to make a donation prior to arrival or you can submit a donation at check in.
