Flashback: Ironman Lake Placid 1999

On Sunday July 27, 2014, Ironman Lake Placid will celebrate it’s 16th edition – the oldest Ironman race in the continental United States.

This classic race kicked off the boom of North American Ironman expansion with its inaugural race on August 15, 1999.
