Switzerland’s Ronnie Schildknecht missed the course record by 14 seconds on the way to winning his 4th Ironman Switzerland title in a row. Meanwhile, fellow Swiss Karin Thürig took her second title of the event (last won in 2005) and broke her own course record coming just shy of going sub-9 hours.
