The marquee race in the Challenge Series, the DATEV Challenge Roth  sold out in record time for 2016 this week. The race will take place on July 17 and both individual and relay spots sold out in under a minute according to the Challenge Family organizers.

The organizers added, “We are very sorry that we weren’t able to accept all applications of interested athletes due to the big run on the Roth triathlon event. For safety reasons and in order to maintain a high competition quality, the capacities of DATEV Challenge Roth cannot be increased, therefore we ask for your understanding.”

For its pre-Christmas charity auction, the event’s registration lists will be temporarily reopened, on December 6 at 12 noon CET, for a select few secured spots. By taking part in the auction, athletes will help support good causes. All proceeds will be donated to charity.
