Craig Alexander is an Ironman Ambassador

Set to race at Kansas and provide commentary at St. George.

Three time Ironman World Champion and two time Ironman 70.3 World Champion is an official Ironman ambassador.

“It was a huge honour to be asked,” said Alexander, who raced as an ambassador for the first time at Ironman Melbourne a few weeks ago. “It’s also nice to be invited to sit on the athlete advisory board to speak on behalf of athletes. Ironman is showing that they’re looking to take input from athletes – hopefully I can provide that.”

According to Ironman.com, Alexander hopes to be able to use his new position to provide mentorship and support for younger athletes as they work their way through the ranks.

As an ambassador, Alexander will be clocking some time on North American soil. He will race at Ironman Kansas on June 9, will be part of the Ironman 70.3 St. George (US Pro Championship) live coverage on May 4, and will once again head to the Ironman 70.3 (September 8) and Ironman World Championship (October 12).
