Craig Alexander and Belinda Granger win Ironman 70.3 Hawaii

American Bree Wee looked great for the win thanks to the top swim (28:29) and ride (2:30:31), but that effort seemed to zap her on the run. Trailing by close to eight minutes after the bike, Australia’s Belinda Granger chased down Wee with a 1:33:58 half marathon to claim the victory in 4:44:36. New Zealand’s Julia Grant also passed Wee to take second (4:46:46), and Wee completed the run in 1:48:08 to hold on to third (4:51:05).
