Coteau-du-Lac ITU Triathlon Pan American Cup

Can-Am Challenge also takes place this Saturday.

For the second year, Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec, located 40 km west of Montreal near the St-Lawrence seaway, hosts the Coteau-du-Lac ITU Triathlon Pan American Cup.

The 1.5 km swim (2 clockwise laps) takes place in a closed canal, the 40 km bike (6 laps) is flat, and the 10 km run (4 laps) also flat and straight line along a cycling path.

The under 15 elite drafting race offers $1000 in prize money and gets started at 11am with the men’s race, the women start at 11:30am. The Can-Am Challenge for junior elite men gets going at 12 noon, while the women start at 12:25pm. They will contest a $2500 prize purse. Then the day culminates with the ITU Continental Cup race where the elites will battle it out for $10 000 in prize money. The elite women start at 1:45pm, and elite men go at 3:45pm.
