The opening lines of Chrissie Wellington’s new book (A Life Without Limits: A World Champion’s Journey) reads as follows:
“The ironman. Just the name excites me. It is one of the most awe-inspiring events in sport. I fell in love with it the first time I attended one – and that was as a mere spectator, less than five months earlier.”
However, if the interview in the Guardian is any indication, the four time Ironman World Champion will be very candid in her discussion about her battle with eating disorders, her lack of confidence, her relationship with Brett Sutton, and much more.
The book will be released this Thursday in the UK, while a North American release is expected in May.
You can read the first few pages of the book in this Amazon UK Book preview.
