Chrissie extends her deepest apologizes for passport mishap.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Chrissie Wellington will not be able to attend the Canadian stop of her book tour scheduled for today, Friday, May 25, at 6 p.m. at GEARS Toronto.
Chrissie extends her deepest apologies to fellow triathletes and fans who planned to make the trip, and is sorry she can’t attend.
“Travellers nightmare. Lost passport. Can’t fly. Have to cancel event at GEARS tonight. Devastated doesn’t even come close. So sorry to all,” said Wellington on Twitter.
Wellington also made an apology on her blog.
Gears Toronto is located at 109 Vanderhoof Avenue near Laird Drive and Eglinton Avenue.
