Charity swim for Christchurch

For our Kiwi readers, or for those in the area early in preparation for Ironman New Zealand, there is a fundraising 1km ocean swim in Auckland on Saturday February 26^th.

100% of funds raised will be donated to the Canterbury Earthquake Appeal.

What: 1km Ocean Swim
When: Sign-up from 7:30 am with approximate start time of 8:00am this Saturday February 26
Where: Gather at Milford Beach Reserve, Craig Road, Milford, Auckland. See map here
Who: Anyone who can competently swim 1km or wants to attend as a non-swimmer and donate
Cost: Donations for the Canterbury Earthquake Appeal of any amount – please dig deep. NB: Cash donations only
