MultiSport Canada, producers of the Recharge With Milk Triathlon Series have unveiled a few changes to their 2013 race schedule.
The two most notable changes is the addition of Belwood (July 20) to the race line-up, and the removal of the popular but tough Cobourg race – at least for this year.
“With the addition of Belwood to its traditional July race date and the request by the local community to move Bala Falls back to the last weekend in July, it became necessary for us to consider moving Cobourg back to August,” said John Salt, MultiSport Canada President and Founder. “Unfortunately the Town of Cobourg was unable to give us a race date in August and we will not have a race in Cobourg in 2013. We hope to be back in Cobourg in 2014.”
Other changes include making its opening race at Woodstock a one-day event, and making Wasaga Beach a two-day event to better accommodate any changes that need to be made due to adverse weather.
