Challenge Henley-on-Thames Preview

A top field takes on the second year race tomorrow in the UK.

A top field of pro starters, including  top UK athletes Stephen and Bella Bayliss, is preparing for the quintesentially English Challenge Henley-on-Thames, based in the historic market town close to London.

With a swim course that follows the historic Henley rowing course, a testing cycle through the scenic Chiltern Hills and a multilap run that embraces the idyllic riverside life along the River Thames, Challenge Henley is an iconic British race in the making, now in its second year.

Athletes will swim 3.8k on the Royal Regatta Course in the River Thames, Bike 180k on closed roads in the stunning Chiltern Hills and run 42k through Henley and along the Thames footpath.

2012 will see more athletes than ever before line up at Challenge Henley-on-Thames on Sunday September 16 with over 1,300 athletes from 15 nations on the start line. For further information, please visit www.challengehenley.com.
