Cervélo S5 wins 2016 Design and Innovation Award

Triathletes who ride on Cervélo bikes will be excited to learn that the brand has once again proven itself as one of the best in the industry. Cervélo’s S5 DA Di2 aero road bike has earned a 2016 Design and Innovation Award. A selection of 40 experts from around the world in the industry named the S5 the recipient after weeks of testing, analyzing and judging the most innovative bike and products for the 2016 season. Bikes were assessed on their performance, pressure mapping and their level of compliance, comfort and adjustability.

The new S5 Dura-Ace/Dura-Ace Di2 saves 21.3 watts compared to the previous model.  The bike’s design borrows elements from the P-series, such as the extended seat tube cutout.
