Pick your winners for stage two of the World Triathlon Series in Cape Town this weekend. The recently launched Trifecta, a new triathlon fantasy game that allows multisport fans to predict the elite men’s and women’s podium finishers will showcase how much you know about triathlon. Canadians Sarah-Anne Brault and Kirsten Sweetland will race on April 26. Kyle Jones and Andrew McCartney will compete for the Canadian men on the 27th.

Hot off her fourth place career best finish at Auckland, Brault has gained significant confidence. In a post-race report on her website, Brault explained what it was like to race some of the best athletes in the sport: “… I tried to pretend it was just the same as I had always done, and that it was just another race…. I ran out of transition like I’d never stopped racing, like I knew exactly what I was doing. I stuck my nose out there, more because I was worried that if I didn’t stay actively involved I would get left behind than for intimidation purposes. The hardest thing about that run was to ignore the names on the suits around me.”

While Kyle Jones was forced to DNF in Auckland, his post race tweet showed that fuelled him even more for the next race:

“Rough day at the office yesterday. Can’t press rewind so on to the next one. We live to fight another day.”
