Registration has opened for the numerous volunteer positions needing filling at the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final and World Championships at Grant Park in Chicago this September 15 through 20. More than 8,000 athletes will be competing including our top Canadians aiming for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Triathlon Teams.

Over 2,000 volunteers are needed. If you have friends or family who will be taking part, volunteering is an excellent way to get in on the action with them. It will be the first time the ITU World Triathlon Series Grand Final will been held in the U.S.

Volunteer slots begin on Friday, Sept. 11, and run through the all the races, ending with the closing ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 20. Volunteer roles include assisting with packet pick-up, course marshalling, aid station support and more. If you register for two or more volunteer spots you will receive VIP volunteer status and be eligible for prizes. All volunteers will be given an official volunteer shirt.

More information on volunteer roles and registration is available at Chicago.Triathlon.org.
