Buy your Pan Am Games Tickets

panam Tickets for the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto went on sale Monday morning, Sept. 15, and   will stay available until Oct. 6 at 9 p.m. EDT.

The multi-sport event is the third-largest in the world by the number of competitors, behind the Summer Olympics and Asian Games. It’s expected to attract nearly 7,000 athletes from 41 countries. Most of Canada’s top track athletes will be competing in the Games. It gives them a chance to prepare for the world championships in Beijing later that summer at the end of August.

The Games run from July 10-26 with athletics events starting on July 18 and running until the final day.

The Games’ website boasts that 75 per cent of tickets will cost $45 and under, but you can expect to pay more for track and field events. There will be some tickets for preliminary rounds with seats for $45, but no medal rounds will cost below $80, with prices ranging up to $145.

You can also buy tickets for the start and finish areas of the marathon, but most of the course, along with the race walk and road cycling events, will be free to spectators.

Tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies are also now on sale, with tickets for the opening ceremony starting at $100 and the closing ceremony starting at $90.
