Bala Falls Triathlon is going retro

MultiSport Canada, producers of the Recharge With Milk Triathlon Series, is creating a “Retro Day” at its Bala Falls Triathlon – the oldest race and one of the most popular in its 11 race series.

Held on Sunday August 19th at Jaspen Park in Bala, Ontario, the plan is to have participants dig deep into their closets and race in their old, classic race gear from the early days of triathlon. See Steve Fleck‘s awesome 80’s gear above.

More details will be released soon but John Salt, Series Founder and President, revealed that there will be a Facebook Retro Photo contest, along with fun race day categories such as best outfit, best retro bike, and best hair style.
