Angela Naeth captures Ironman 70.3 Syracuse

Angela Naeth and Joe Gambles rose to the top of the podium today at Ironman 70.3 Syracuse.

Naeth, a native of Prince George, B.C., chased down swim leader (24:38) Jodie Swallow of Great Britain with the day’s best ride (2:21:55) and run (1:23:23) to seize the win in 4:16:27. Swallow followed next for second (4:19:09), and Australia’s Nikki Butterfield took third (4:24:52).
