Amelie Kretz wins and Dominika Jamnicky takes second at ITU Bridgetown

Alexander Hinton finishes fifth in the men's race.

At today’s ITU Sprint Triathlon Pan American Cup in Bridgetown, Barbados, Canada’s rising stars had great outings.

Amelie Kretz used a 18:21 5 km run to speed past her teammate Dominika Jamnicky (19:05) for the win in 1:02:39. Jamnicky secured second (1:03:23), and American Erin Jones finished third (1:03:33).

Jason Wilson of Barbados won the men’s race in 58:21. Alexander Hinton was the top Canadian in fifth (58:57).
