Later this week Quebec’s Pamela-Ann Bachelder St-Pierre will be competing in her first full-distance race since her fourth-place finish at Ironman Mont-Tremblant in 2019 when she lines up at Ironman Florida.

Earlier this year we got to watch the pro from Quebec City blast through the bike course at the Canadian Pro Triathlon Championship where she had the day’s second-fastest bike split on her way to a fourth-place finish for the standard-distance race.

Her impressive finish in Tremblant last year wasn’t exactly planned – she had qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice thanks to a seventh-place finish at Ironman 70.3 Victoria earlier that year and hadn’t intended to complete the run in Mont-Tremblant due to an injury and also to save her legs for the big day in Nice. In the end, though, she decided to “go for it” and nailed the fourth-place finish in her Ironman debut.

She’ll make a second-go at the full-distance this weekend in Panama City Beach at Ironman Florida. Here’s a look at her speedy ride – a Trek Speed Concept with Bontrager Aeolus 5 wheels.
